An entrepreneur right from the beginning of his career, Shantanu owes his positive mindset to the excellent skills in sports he has had from a very young age. He was the captain of the Pune University table tennis team during his Engineering days and led the team up to the National level; he also played Chess at a Zonal Level.  He continues to play Chess and believes it to be a very good exercise to keep one’s brain muscles working.

After completing his Mechanical Engineering, he built a Manufacturing & Construction business which was successfully led for six years. Evolution of a global business scenario made him realise that IT is the next big revolution and an overall corporate exposure was the need of the hour, this would help him understand the MNC work culture and eventually he could diversify his focus and use the experience in larger domains, he then handed over the reins of the construction business to his partner and moved on to experience the Information Technology world.

Shantanu, for the next 20 years, held diverse leadership roles in reputed IT organizations like Patni Computer Systems, Xchanging and Ingram Micro Inc. He was instrumental in building many different business models for these organizations and won several awards in recognition of his outstanding achievements. He completed his professional management certifications from reputed Institutes like Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, ICFAI, and is a certified corporate law practitioner.

Shantanu is also an active member of the Advisory Board of TCA, an enterprise in the business of creating micro entrepreneurs from the grass root level. As part of his social responsibility, he is associated with a Mumbai based NGO, which takes up cases with children’s education, extending medical facilities & sponsoring the hospital expenses of unattended senior citizens and the needy.
