Introducing Mr. Satyavir Sharma, who has served the Nation for 21 years in different Ranks & Files of Indian Air Force. He started his career IAF at the formatting age of less than 17 years after completing the school education. He decided to improve his Educational Qualifications. With this passion, he developed a positive attitude and restarted his Higher Education which he left while joining the IAF.
He has undergone the Specialist Course of Missile Engineering. He got the support of his superiors and they guided him to enhance his academic Qualification in the Management Field. He completed Bachelors, PGD in IRPM, and MBA (HR) in addition to the Degree in Electrical Engineering.
During his 21 years of meritorious service to the Nation, he has been awarded a ‘Presidential Award’ by the Honorable President of India and 09 Prestigious Service Medals. Having the choice of selecting the fields for the Second Innings of his Career, he joined as Campus Engineer & Administrative Officer in Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. Later on, he got the opportunity to serve in various Higher Education Institutes viz. Parul University, RPS Group of Institutions; ITM (SLS) Baroda University and again RPS Group of Institutions in the cross-functional role of Administration, Training & Placements, University Events & International Admissions, NAAC Preparation Process, IQAC, and Assistant Registrar. With this, he analyzed that, handling the Students, as well as University Administration, are always challenging and significant in their own way.
While serving in Education Sector, he got inspired by Dr. Dixit Shah, (President, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth), Dr. Devanshu J Patel, (President, Parul University), and got immense support from Dr. GD Mehta (Chancellor, SV), Dr. Yogesh Upadhyay (Provost, ITMBU), Mr. NN Shah (Registrar, SV) in consistent learning the Academic Culture, System, Statutory agencies like NAAC & NBA, Administration, Operational Management, Corporate Relationship, Career Counselling, CSR Activities. This helped him gaining the cutting edge and the professional approach towards grooming the 10000+ Students for their Placements, Personal and Professional Growth. This fetched the desired result as more than 3000 Students got placed from the Institutes he has worked with.
He envisions motivating, grooming, and encouraging one lakh youth on future skill readiness in the next five years and thus increasing the availability of skilled professionals in the country. He recognized the importance of converting his experience and competency into service by mentoring the youth in India through the Education Sector which will lead to the formation of young entrepreneurs.
Mr. Satyavir Sharma’s day job is working as Assistant Registrar (Admin/Estt) and Head Training & Placement and Career Development Cell of RPS Group of Institutions. He is a man of work and a People’s Person possessing a fair Degree of General Awareness, with an optimistic approach in all circumstances and hoping to help with the goal of contribution in Nation Building.
Mr. Sharma’s motivation and encouragement for the student’s benefits in terms which include positive impacts on social skills, empathy, awareness, understanding, and concern regarding community issues, plus greater confidence and skills to work with diverse populations, increased awareness of community resources, improved motivation, and enhanced knowledge. He is very good learner and ready to learn the new things from everyone. With this, he is satisfied and feeling proud to be awarded “INDIAN ACHIEVERS AWARD 2021” for “EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION” by the Indian Achievers Forum.
