After completing his MBA in 1985 from one of the top 10 management school IMT Ghaziabad, Mr. Sanjeev worked with a few good national and international companies and did quite well there in terms of achievement. He was always a blue-eyed boy of the management as he was rendering good results and adding to profitability. Soon he realized that job was not for him because he never used to like subordination by others. Though he never showed it and it was never reflected in his behavior or action, there was a hidden desire in the deep recesses of his heart to be ‘on my own and be my own boss’.
One fine morning in August 1992, Mr. Sanjeev quit his job and started his own business with the meagre sum of money he could get from his provident fund as his only capital. Since he was passionate about international business, he decided to start own export business in spite of all the discouragement from family and friends.
He formulated and introduced 100% Natural hair colours, which were made of just herbs, no added synthetic ingredients and nothing else, totally safe for hair and body, with no side effects and allergic reaction. But still it was not easy- after knocking doors in several countries, Japan was first to accept it, followed by Taiwan and few companies in USA. Most of the companies in many countries still refused.
In 2011, he arrived at a range of 10 colours and was successful in getting Organic Certification by ECO-CERT, a French based certifying company who is a world leader in Organic Certification. His company ‘Radico’ was first in world to get organic certification for hair colours.
Highly encouraged by success of the product in New Zealand and Australia, Mr. Sanjeev introduced and launched it in Germany and today, Radico brand is doing very well in 100+ countries including India and have become a most coveted brand and world leader in Organic & Natural hair colours industry.
