Whilst their stint at Northern Arc, they identified certain gaps in fund raising business and were convinced that the fund raising by many emerging and mid-market corporates was not been done in a systematic and planned way due to lack of tapping the right sources at the right time.

These corporates have been working with many syndicators in the market, but the success ratio demonstrated by the syndicators have been disappointing. This adversely impacts the fund-raising capability of the corporates and a significant amount of management bandwidth gets wasted. Thus, they formed FCPL with the intention to solve this problem.

FortWise Capital has been able to effectively demonstrate its origination, execution, and marketing capability by engaging with all the stakeholders including clients/issuers, investors, rating agencies, legal counsels, trustees, among others. The success ratio so far achieved by team stands at 90% which is exceedingly high as per the industry standard. This is arrived based on mandates closed to mandates awarded to FortWise by their partner clients. Today, they are working with 22 number of partner clients and targets to expand its client base to 50 by March 2022. But the journey has just begun, and they intend to be a first choice as a fund raising advisor for emerging and mid-market corporates in India.
