Mr. Rishi Kapoor has been working passionately for over two decades to assist businesses transform leveraging the new age cutting edge technologies. He is a post graduate in Business Administration from IMT Ghaziabad and also holds a Masters in Computer Science Degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC, USA).
Mr. Kapoor is a technology and industry expert who comes with global experience in Insurance, Banking & Financial Services. As CEO, Mr. Kapoor is presently in charge of all affairs of Eicore Technologies, with a principal focus on execution and growth. Prior to this he has performed several leadership roles in organizations like IBM , NIIT Technologies, Max Bupa Health Insurance, HCL Technologies ,CitiGroup and Satyam.
At Eicore Technologies, Mr. Kapoor has been instrumental in the development of innovative and comprehensive product portfolios focused on the Insurance sector. Overall value proposition of the products has been enhanced by leveraging new age technologies like Digital, Artificial Intelligence, Process Automation, Analytics and BI / Data Visualization. These enhanced offerings have been taken to new international markets like Hong Kong, Vietnam, UAE & Africa. With a transformed insurance product portfolio, technology roadmap and partner alliances the company is uniquely positioned as a One Stop Shop to address the dynamic and comprehensive needs of the insurance sector and geared up for hyper growth and market expansion.
Mr Kapoor has previously been associated with IBM India where he led the Conceptualization, Design and Implementation of first of a kind Artificial Intelligence Claims Assessment Solution for the Motor Insurance Industry in India. This innovative & transformational solution was later on replicated across the insurance industry both domestic and internationally.
At NIIT Technologies Mr Kapoor had been instrumental in leading an innovative cloud based solution initiative for banking and insurance industries. The SAAS based single tenant model was developed for selling CBS (Core Banking Solution) solutions for Cooperative Banks and Core PAS (Policy Administration System) solutions for SME insurance markets. This transformation made banking and insurance more affordable for businesses as they could now use the Pay-As-You-Go model and manage their finances and cash-flows better.
Prior to this at Max Bupa Mr. Kapoor was one of the founding members and involved in setting up their Health Insurance business w.r.t Products, Marketing, IT Systems in India. He was involved in the development of an indemnity based innovative health insurance product with the highest individual sum insured coverage in India.
