Prior to that Rakesh has worked with multiple organizations including Basware, Dell, COLT Technology and American Express in India and AAPT Telecom in Australia. A quintessential experienced professional with a very curious nature to learn and improve things.

An Economics Graduate from University of Delhi and an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, A Delhiite from Heart however have made Chandigarh his home now for the last 10 years. 

Under Rakesh’s leadership, Xerox Technology services India LLP managed to revive its KPO operations in Chandigarh during the lockdown period, supporting business contracts worth millions of Euros. Given the practical logistics issues during the initial phases of lockdown in India, reactivating more than 300 team members from their homes by providing them the necessary tools and equipment required a precise and watertight project management approach. The awareness and speed of execution in response to the dynamic situation (which was changing with every hour on many days) demonstrates Rakesh’s leadership and management skills. With those efforts, Xerox not only managed to revive its business operations but also gained great trust in its capability as an agile organization with a cohesive team willing to surpass expectations to help its clients. 

Rakesh inspired his colleagues, peers and leadership alike with the way his team responded to the situation and revived the Chandigarh operations. His leadership, resilience and determination to succeed is exemplary. 

Rakesh has truly gone above and beyond in keeping operations going in chandigarh in a very tough business environment. Amid continuous lockdowns, and closed offices, Rakesh has led the local team brilliantly, motivating them to come up with innovative ideas and to keep production on course by enabling working from home and supporting with technical solutions. He has implemented initiatives with speed, such as aligning available resources to customer projects to minimize disruption and maintaining service level agreements for turnaround time and quality.
