“We wanted to help manufacturers automate visual inspection and improve overall equipment effectiveness by identifying product defects using artificial intelligence and deep learning. The ultimate aim is to make smart manufacturing lean and accessible to MSMEs. We are also looking to enable seamless autonomous manufacturing and make work from home easy and convenient for employees in the post-Covid-19 world,” says the co-founders.

Rajesh has 20 years of experience in the information technology space and three

exits in which the two of them were in the Silicon Valley, US. “While working together, our customers – all in the manufacturing sector – faced the same primary challenge: automating quality inspections to be faster, more reliable and less expensive”. This observation led Rajesh to build a team in India, and develop the solution along with a group of engineering experts and enthusiasts. Lincode Labs Inc is headquartered in California, US, and Lincode Labs Pvt Ltd (LLPL), is a division of Lincode Labs Inc, based in Bengaluru. It also has two other offices based in the US and has a client base globally.

SMAARC is a consortium of Smart manufacturing, AI, AR, and Robotics initiated by Lincode along with its industrial partners, a community to encourage manufacturing technology and innovations. The goal behind SMAARC is to address the challenges faced by manufacturers by designing pragmatic and innovative solutions that make manufacturing a highly seamless and efficient process that brings in significant value & goodwill. Last year Lincode had announced a partnership with Switzerland head-quartered Global Automotive Alliance, GAA, making Lincode more active in the automotive industry.

Rajesh has set everything in the position that is required to conquer the small and long-term goals he has in mind for Lincode in the coming years. “The long-term goal, I would say, is to continuously augment our R&D efforts to address the challenges faced by manufacturers by designing pragmatic and innovative solutions that make

manufacturing a highly seamless and efficient process that brings in notable value & goodwill. The short-term goal is to help the manufacturers scale up their business, now that we are returning to normalcy amidst the ongoing pandemic. We are working towards developing technologies and solutions that help the manufacturing industry bounce back with a powerful and efficient inspection within the established cycle time, resulting in better production capacity and enabling the manufacturer to meet the demand & quality standards effortlessly”, says Rajesh.

Lincode was recently selected as one of the top startups in a global conference and was also a part of the Startup Grind 2021, which took place in North America.
