Earlier he worked as CEO in Patnaik Steel and Alloys limited in Odisha but presently working as Executive Director with Sky Alloys and Power limited, Chattisgarh. Moreover, he has worked in various reputed organizations overseas like Sudan, Saudi Arabia.
He worked in Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and everywhere he worked at production, and generation levels. He has worked both in the public andprivate sector organization.
His career started with Taper Group of Industries ,38 years back as a trainee. He is someone who loves experimenting . As a result he ran 100% dolachar without coal with his innovative techniques.
He has worked in different levels of power generations ranging from 8 MW to 500 MW and everywhere he marked his presence by generating more than what was expected of him irrespective of whether the plant was old or new .
He holds a history of saving of 20% precise furnace oil in oil-fired boilers by his unique techniques. He understands the importance of saving tonnes of iron ore in order to save costs for the company under steel industries.
A keen communicator with honed interpersonal , problem solving, and analytical abilities. In the by past he has proved himself by saving 80% of Coal and used dolachar thermal power plants with his close monitoring. Infamous for his innovative techniques for the marketing of power sales and final products in India as well as abroad ,Mr. Rajan always imprints his personality behind.
He also,introduced neutral ramming mass overf silica ramming group that used to increase heat levels from 10/15 to 80 nos.
Produced high – quality steel displays like sponge iron, SMS-M.S billets, blast furnace-pig iron, TMT bar-rolling mill, ferro alloys, and high-quality Power Generation are his forte. He focuses on training on transactional analysis & communication skills and root cause analysis.
He holds business aspect financial responsibility for opWorks’ operational activities that includes aximizing gross margin by reducing direct costs. He analyzes plant daily/ weekly/ monthly spending to keep the indirect and fixed cost within standards to meet/exceed corporate financial goals
He manages the capital budget for the responsible location. He implements necessary plant improvements as dictated by business needs.
He aspires to achieve plant metrics related to safety, cost, product/process quality, productivity, and process improvement. He adheres to zero waste and zero loss mindset throughout the executional work. He ensure that financial productivity and plant/product transition projects are successfully executed.
He has a great passion for dynamic management , administration and getting optimum output in any organization related to steel and power.
He enjoys breaking his records in the fields of production and productivity.
