Through his career, he has had the opportunity to associate himself with businesses who envisioned disruptive technology innovations like social media applications, ride booking systems, cashless mobile transactions and headless commerce. One of the greatest achievements being a web-development project he managed for an investigative news agency in New Jersey, which was nominated a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize in public services.

A career in the software development industry, exposes you to a variety of workforce from across the globe. You are subjected to different cultures, ethics and growth-patterns. Learning is a never-ending trend. At home in India, he has always admired how freshmen start their career with a lot of hiccups, overwhelming confusion and anxiety but as years pass by they get inspired, find their mojo and start to pace forward at great speeds. What bothers him is the time taken to turn the career or even the passion around into the right direction. Some people stay steady, some fail and some give up mid-way. This time taken from “dream-to-fulfilment” struck the idea of starting something that aids as a medium to bridge the gap and motivate people to achieve their goals sooner. That’s when he founded “TheKnowBuddies”.

TheKnowBuddies (TKB) is a group of seasoned experts who come from a variety of professions. At the core, TKB is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Their goal is set onto ensuring that every individual and/ or organization who comes to them with a problem statement or is seeking knowledge, walks in curious and walks out accomplished. TKB can also be looked at as an initiative to improve the quality of human resource ours nation holds and increase individual potential no matter what the shortcomings are.

In the year 2020 as the dreaded covid-19 virus spread across the world, forcing countries to get into a total lockdown, there was a chaos in the industry. People started to lose jobs, get wage-cuts and run into depression. This is when the folks at TKB planned to start the “#LetKnowledgeBeFree” campaign. They started to run polls on LinkedIn and other social platforms, invited people to reach out to them with anything and everything they had a problem with. They received a tremendous response. There were women who wanted to re-start their careers, youngsters with speech issues or stage fright, professionals looking to upgrade their technology stack, jobless individuals looking for opportunities, the list kept growing. They then started to organise free-for-all virtual training programs, workshops, professional connects and online sessions to help them up-skill, get inspired, overcome career impediments or even just talk and open-up. This initiative proved to be a great success and extremely fulfilling to everyone who volunteered as a “KnowBuddy”. The “Agile Marathon for Women Professionals” organized early this year was one of their most popular and impactful virtual workshops.
