Co-founder of India’s First Home Inspection Start-up “PropCheckup” and Ex-investment banker
Nilesh Shingote is one of the Co-founders of India’s First Home Inspection Startup, PropCheckup. Hailing from a small village in Maharashtra’s Pune district, he moved to Mumbai after completing his primary education in Marathi Language. He struggled through college due to lack of proficiency in English language. But with his dedication and hard work, he has overcome the challenge and has done his graduation in Business Management from Mumbai University and holds a degree in MBA (Finance).
He has worked withMoody’s (MNC, Global Rating Agency) after starting his professional journey in investment banking firm at Mumbai. He has 7+ years’ experience in investment banking and financial services industry. He has spent most of his time in startup consulting, real estate, market research, business consulting and deal execution.
There is an interesting story behind his entrepreneurial journey and how PropCheckup started. During the days, when Nilesh was completinghis graduation and his brother,Nitin was already a Civil Engineer, Nitin used to work on-sites and get many queries relating to the quality of the ready to move properties after the completion of projects. So, one day they realized that there was not any sort ofservice which could resolve these kinds of queriesfor the buyers. After certain months of the realization, they thought that they can come up with a startup wherein, with some 100+ Checkpoints,they will be the inter- mediator between property developers and the buyers for the quality related issues.Today, that 100+ Checkpoints idea is converted into Best Home Inspection Brand “PropCheckup”.Started by two brothers, the brand is the pioneer of Home Inspection Industry in India and a founding Member of Home Inspection Association of India.
