He has currently built a precision-agriculture based smart farm web-app that is a one-stop no-cost solution for farmers to gain instant and real-time recommendations for the crop to be planted, the type of organic fertilizer to be used based on the soil type, the pesticide to be used, and the storage process for each crop. It also provides a paragraph for suggestions explaining the prediction.

Manas was just 16 when he joined engineers and university students as a Machine Learning Operations and Full Stack Intern at IIT Kharagpur and also joined MindPath Technology as an AI/ML Intern where he put inquiry and theory to practice gaining a systems-level perspective on Artificial Intelligence. He is also an #IamRemarkable Facilitator where he empowers women and other underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workspace & beyond. Also, as a #GoogleCloudReady Facilitator at Google Inc. he helps students get hands on practice on Google Cloud.

Recently, he is also selected as a recipient of the SUSE Cloud Native Foundations Scholarship offered by SUSE in collaboration with Udacity awarding only 300 finalists out of a competitive pool of lakhs of applicants a full scholarship to the nanodegree program.

He has authored 3 research papers that have been published in ResearchGate and International Advanced Research Journal in Science, Engineering and Technology (IARJSET). He is also authoring a chapter in the book ‘Blockchain Technology’, being published by CRC Press (Taylor and Francis Group).

A budding AI enthusiast, Manas aims to achieve the feat of Artificial General and Super Intelligence in the future.
