Truly a rags to riches story, Lazarus rose like a phoenix from washing taxis at the petrol pump to become one of the most sought after speaker/trainer in the financial services industry in India. Considered a subject matter expert in the financial services industry, he recognised the importance of converting his experience and competency into service by mentoring financial professionals in India which led to the formation of the Laazarus Dias Education Akademy.
He has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. 16 years as a financial advisor where he qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table of USA for 6 years in a row. He has worked as a Branch manager with a Pvt Life insurance company for 4 years and then started the Training academy in Mumbai. He has been training financial professionals for the last 17 years. Mr. Lazarus is an MBA in Finance and has authored 4 books.
Due to the family’s poor financial condition , Lazarus could not continue his studies after SSC and joined Siemens training centre for doing his NCTVT as a tool and die maker. He joined Hindustan lever limited as a Maintenance technician, a job which he disliked to the core. In 1995 he resigned his job after working in Levers for 10 years to try his hand at being a financial advisor and in the 1st year itself qualified for the Million Dollar Round table USA, a very prestigious club of the top financial advisors worldwide. He started the academy with a vision to enable financial advisors to dream big inspite of their background and current situation. He completed his Graduation and post graduation through distance learning. He is an inspiration to all financial professionals across the length and breath of India. He has addressed more than 3 Lakh financial advisors and mentored more than 5000 financial advisors in india in the last 15 years
He is a man with an optimistic approach in all circumstances and hoping to help with the goal of a financially sound India by empowering financial advisors who spread the message of finance to all households in India.
