He has 17 years of experience in waste management and waste to energy projects; under guidance of Gajanan his company has implemented more than 200 projects in 18 states across India. They are converting wet bio degradable waste in to energy and fertilizer through Biomethanation. They installed more than 10,000 family size biogas plants for individual farmers to replace fire wood and kerosene for cooking and made their kitchens smoke free.

Gajanan has contributed a lot in promotion of renewable energy while working with MNRE New Delhi and many state nodal agencies (SNA) like MEDA, GEDA, CREDA etc. He has promoted prefabricated ready to install family size biogas plants in collaboration with Sintex and brought revolution in this industry. His contribution for biogas based captive power projects for the dairy & poultry farms in rural area is incredible, he made hundreds of farmers grid free and independent in terms of power and fertilizer based on the waste they generate at farm

He has done poultry based compressed biogas projects at Hyderabad and Miraj, Maharashtra where the CBG is being used for vehicle to replace CNG. More than 15 projects of 100 KW and above for captive power generation for poultry farmers all over India proved his dedication and success in this industry. Poultry farms went through odour, flies and pathogens problem due to which there was huge social resistance for poultry farms from villagers but Mr. Gajanan have showed them way forward with social acceptance along with power and organic fertilizer.

The food waste generated from hotels, restaurants, vegetable & fruit market been getting converted in to power and hundreds of street lights are running on that power at Baramati, Parbhani, Goa and many municipal councils and corporations, this type of projects helping to treat the waste at source ecofrinedly, generating employment and reducing emission of GHG.

Gajanan has also done many projects for community biogas for villages where all the waste from village is getting collected and processed at biogas plant and that biogas is supplied to households through pipeline under “GOBARDHAN” scheme of GOI.

He is a man with energy and deep passion about waste, working towards making India self sustainable in terms of energy and fertilizer with the help of energy crops.
