Mr. Gagan Arora, a first-generation tech-entrepreneur and Boston Consulting Group certified business professional, founded ILC Solutions & Vertex Global Services in 2016 with innovation at the core of its philosophy. The brand offers a wide spectrum of services under four verticals – Managed Services, Artificial Intelligence, Staff Augmentation and Performance Marketing. It is present across three continents and has serviced over 3,000 clients. Ranked amongst the most innovative tech companies, it provides cutting edge solutions while keeping the cost under control. Growing at a sky-rocketing pace, Vertex has emerged as a transformative evangelist for numerous brands with its revolutionary thinking and ability to adapt technology.
Mr. Arora has been driving exponential growth for the brand and has expanded the company to – India, USA, UK & Philippines; increased the revenue by 100% year-on-year; gone from 0 to 3,000 happy clients; tripled the workforce; transformed an office with employees into ‘Best Place to Work’ certified by Best Place to Work Institute; bagged multiple awards including – India’s Best Company in 2020 for Business Consulting, Best Tech Startup, Best Innovative Tech company; and completed multiple international acquisitions during the pandemic.
Mr. Arora entrepreneurial journey is nothing short of an inspiration. In 2015, he left his cushy job, sacrificed monthly salary & perks and jumped into the unknown terrain of entrepreneurship to follow his dreams. Even though his initial startups failed, his ability to stay calm in adversity and his attitude of – ‘Winning is about not giving up’, kept him going to launch Vertex Global Services, which is at the zenith of its success.
He has over 15 years of rich industry experience and has worked with several global brands such as Teleperformance, Targus and Tech Live Connect. During these years, he has donned several hats of New Business Development, Communications, People Management or P&L. He has a proven business acumen and is best known for scaling up revenues from a few millions to multi-millions; bagging new businesses; setting up new offices and managing P&L (100% growth YoY); identifying new business opportunities and geographies; leading 1,000 – member teams; creating out-of-the-box and solution oriented approach to the industry problems, and adapting to new technologies.
In 2010, Mr. Arora launched an office for a well-known call center with over 3000 employees in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The city is now deemed as the next big startup hub, but not in 2010. His ability to stay ahead of the curve and seize an opportunity won him a lot of accolades then. Mr. Arora has always loved meeting new people and hearing their perspectives. An excellent people’s manager and was recently certified by Great Managers Institute. He believes in nurturing the young talent to create great industry work. He has been contributing at multiple industry forums, bodies, and B-schools and won numerous accolades at all levels.
