A name to remember, Mr. Divij Bajaj, Founder and CEO of Power Gummies (Aesthetic Nutrition Pvt. Ltd.), who took the nutraceutical industry by a storm introducing a new dimension of gummy supplement in India. No qualms him being awarded recently as the Best Emerging Entrepreneur 2020. His diligence and stark sight have achieved his startup the recognition as the Top Startup to Watch in 2020 by INC42 and Best Innovative Nutrition Product 2020 covered by Forbes, India. His health supplement startup has come in force with a philosophy of ‘Health inspired by Happiness and backed by science’ – with an aim of catering to adult nutrition driving away from the fear of bitter-tasting medicines & supplements which come in form of pills.
An MBA graduate from Maharaja Agrasen College and alumni of KMC College, the University of Delhi endeavoured to bring his imagination into reality, learnt his way to success through challenges. Marching as the market leader in its segment and delivering incredible performances crossing milestones of selling over 20,00,000 gummies so far in just two years of existence with a single variant being able to build public trust and gave rise to a community of loyalists. Putting a relentless effort to level up his game and take through his vision to existence has not been easy.
There is an interesting story behind his entrepreneurial journey. His inspirational story makes one believe that great business ideas can come from your own life experiences and dissecting your inner powers. His mother hated medical pills, and she would desist from taking any vitamin supplements and believed “every tablet was a medicine”. He always tried varied ways to make them palatable. His entrepreneurial mind loved solving issues and understood the call was to devise a supplement that shouldn’t look like another medicine yet tasty, bringing Power Gummies in 2018.
Mr. Divij never wanted his product to be similar to the other multivitamins which made him structure his stringent R&D on gummy supplements. Worked as a one-man army without a pause, believing his vision all alone and conquering the set rules of the game. This insightful experience allows him to foresee the upcoming industry trends and the future course of his venture. Another challenge was to create a market for his product, bringing the attention of people towards nutrition has been a daunting task.
Before starting Aesthetic Nutrition, he founded an Edtech platform called The Admission Portal to ease the admission related problems faced by both students and parents which later got merged to become justdakhila.com. Also started his silent disco chain by the name of “Headphones”.
Mr. Divij believes when the world doesn’t resonate with your ideas, one should keep moving forward with intrinsic motivation, trust and focus, even if the road seems full of roadblocks. People who once laughed at his idea of starting a company that sells vitamin infused gummies are the ones who raise a toast in the name of his success.
