Having been an alumni of LBS College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research (Mumbai), K.C. Law College (“A” grade-University of Mumbai) and Master Degree in Financial Management from one of the top 10 prestigious Business Management Institutes of India, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (University of Mumbai), Mr. Jhingan has had rich and varied experiences, which have been highly satisfying and gratifying. He stood first in India in the“Extra Master”, the highest marine professional qualification.
Coming from a modest humble background, he went on to become,perhaps, the “highest” and “widest” qualified and experienced shipping professional in the “Admiralty/ Shipping/ Maritime/ Logistics/ SCM/ Ports & Terminals/ NVOCC and Freight Forwarding” related industry.
While working with the Tata’s Forbes Group, in various ascending capacities to the level of Vice President, which included “heading” activities of one of the top 10 International Shipping/ Logistics company in the World, on All India basis, he represented his Forbes Group as a “Quality Champion” and his unit was awarded one of the top 3 best business units within Tata Group.
He was an Sr. Examiner in the Tata group to evaluate JRDQV (JRD Tata Quality Values) applications of Tata group companies. JRDQV award is based on “Malcolm Baldrige” model of USA.He also received an appreciation letter from the Tata group chairman Mr. Ratan Tata for contributions made to the business group through quality related activities.

He is an avid writer. His “commercial and legal”articles get published in national and international journals/ papers. He is an active half marathoner (21 kms) participant also.
