Mr. Bharat Jagmohan Mehra is a Philanthropist, Business Man, Art Connoisseur and an Astrologer. He holds a professional with a personal history of service to humankind due to his commitment and concern for the welfare of the backward community for the past 25 years.
He continues even today as a ‘Goodness Trail’, empowering and serving thousands of people in the best possible way.
His relentless dedication to philanthropic work has earned him a reputation as a social worker, leader and visionary. He has put into motion several projects catering to societal needs like literacy, poverty, unemployment, women empowerment, lack of medical aids and many more, which has given a new lease to the life of the destitute. His work has brought him enormous recognition and accolades, including the Bharat Nirman Awards 2018 for his outstanding contributions to social work.
Radha Meera Charitable trust’s motto is “No one deserves to remain hungry”. The trust work with full zest to provide the necessities and essential household commodities to the marginalized section.
The Community Hall of the Trust is utilized by the localities’ for celebrating various religious and spiritual events, for community weddings, for gatherings of senior citizens and other social and cultural activities.
For many years he has been organizing community weddings of the Orphaned Adivasi Females. Not only this, in case of any medical emergency, the trust runs two fully operational ambulances, a Healthcare and Pathology centre, a 24 x7 Emergency Clinic with an in-house residential doctor and a medical store that provides free medicines. He has been supporting the Leprosy Centers in the country for more than seven years and giving financial assistance to terminal cancer patients.
Mr. Mehra has installed water pumps in numerous remote and
arid areas. The water tankers of the trust distribute fresh potable water to the villages of Raighad district and are working on expansion possibilities. The trust has two projects in the pipeline. One is the dairy milk production unit to meet the nutritional requirement of the less privileged. The other is a vocational training centre empowering women and supporting them to be self-reliant.
He plans to build old age homes for senior citizens of economically backward communities. He hopes to increase outreach to the larger section of the deprived society, and the Ajay Piramal Group unstintingly supports his noble endeavours. Then, it is no surprise that people address him as “ The Man with the Golden Heart “.
