A serial entrepreneur not averse to taking risks Badal has slowly but surely over the years built an interesting portfolio in the world of Fashion. In fashion, Badal has been instrumental in conceiving and building the Pune Fashion Week brand into a leading Indian Luxury Fashion Exhibition platform. Started in 2009, Pune Fashion Week is an initiative taken by the creative thinkers of the industry to bring together a fashion extravaganza in the cultural city of Pune. Pune fashion week has been growing from strength to strength each year and is reckoned as a premier fashion showcasing platform for not only the GenNext designers but also an exclusive opportunity to rub shoulders with the most celebrated names from the world of fashion and glamour, nationally as well as internationally.

He has also been driving growth at the World Fashion Week (WFW) as the CEO and Korea Modelling Association (KMA) and Asia Model Festival Organising Committee’s (AMFOC) International talent discovery platform ‘Face of Asia’ which is a part of the Asia Model Festival in different Asian countries where he is the Chairman for India.

Face of India (FOI) is a platform to promote cultures between India and other countries. The platform has had more than 7500 aspiring models from all over the country competing for the grand finale. The final winners of FOI get a chance to represent India in Asia Model festival held in Korea. It has also created job opportunities for the models that participate. Face of India, strives to bring the best of opportunities that the property has to offer in terms of potential business opportunities, direct TG reach & brand positioning. New seasons are set out to be an even bigger celebration than before, winners will represent India and will compete with the delegates from 27 Asian countries for ASIA MODEL FESTIVAL, Korea. After the success of Face of India, He took this to global platform to impact many more lives and make a difference to the Fashion world by giving global platform to deserving and aspiring models.

And then the journey started from India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, UAE, Mauritius and Bhutan and to reach too many more countries to get the talent from diverse culture and communities to the global fashion world.

Having grown an enviable portfolio of fashion showcasing platforms, Badal’s next venture in the space ‘Fashionable Bharat’ is focused on building social capital through an innovative NextGen sourcing and distribution model.

His entrepreneurial journey equipped with education in Mechanical Engineering and Post-Graduation from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi has brought him to a position where he sits on the boards of various companies as well as advices a host of start-ups and entities in the fields of Fashion, Arts & Culture. Badal has focused on the high end branded real estate segment and is credited with introducing rapidly growing globally renowned brands such as World Trade Centre, Fendi, Bentley, Disney Homes and FTV Homes in India.
