Arjun Vaidya, the CEO of “Dr. Vaidya’s – New Age Ayurveda”.
One of his family’s 150 years old legacy, led by his ancestors. With a dream of taking forward this legacy Arjun left his job in October 2016, at US to come back to his nation India and joined this family business of ayurveda. Prior to his entrepreneurial stint, Arjun graduated from Brown University, USA with a BA with honors in International Relations and Economics. He has worked in private equity at a consumer sector focused fund, L Capital Asia (the private equity arm of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group).
Ayurvedic formulation was left behind by his grandfather with a dream of making his grandson an upcoming ayurvedic entrepreneur. Dr. Vaidya’s aims to take the traditional science of Ayurveda to the 21stcentury by using innovative packaging, branding and new formats of products. He took the business on great hight with 42 Stock Keeping Units with dream of taking this number to 53 in upcoming times. At current they also own 120 herbal formulations.
Outside of work, Arjun is an advisor to football focused NGO, “Just for Kicks”, is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and a Mentor at the Atal Innovation Mission. He is also a part of the All India Management Association’s Young Leaders Conference and a member of Brown University’s Young Alumni Advisory Council.

- He was recently the first AyurvedicEntrepreneur to be featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List for 2019 and BW 40 Under 40 List! In 2020.
- Dr. Vaidya’s also won Youth SMB of the Year from Amazon and a Retail Startup Award from the Retailers Association of India.
- With innovative concepts like LIVitup (Hangover Shield) and Chakaash (Herbal Health Toffees), Dr. Vaidya’s has captured the imagination of thousands of consumers to become India’s largest digital Ayurveda brand.
- He also achieved an Indian Achievers Award by Indian Achievers Forum for his remarkable work in ayurveda.
