He started his career in Ericsson in 2007. He did not look back and kept on achieving career milestones in Ericsson and became a Chief Enterprise Architect in 2012 in a short period of 5 years. He was with Ericsson for leading the Cloud DevOps unit, handling the Cloud PDU portfolio for services, and providing strategic direction for Ericsson’s Global Organization. 

He achieved yet another milestone in his career and life was to start a new NFV/Cloud solution venture in 2015 along with his friend, named as VoerEir. At VoerEir, he was responsible for all development and system engineering initiatives inside VoerEir AB along with handling key customers and building several solutions for cloud benchmarking tools. 

After running it successfully, he started a new software venture, Coredge.io to help revolutionize the enterprise and service provider edge cloud.

Coredge Edge OS is a revolutionary edge computing platform to address the hyperlocal cloud Infrastructure requirements driven by the new age of low latency applications like OTT, Self-driving cars, AR/VR, 4K Streaming, Voice/Video over IP, and the fundamental use case for the 5G & Industry 4.0 Edge Cloud. 

Apart from all his achievements, he is an avid open-source Contributor and an influential thought leader in 5G (Telco Cloud/NFV) and Edge Computing. He is an ambassador for Linux Foundation’s Anuket project. His initiatives with the Linux Foundation include Kontour (Under Akraino), OPNFV (Open Platform for Network Functions Virtualization), and ODL (OpenDaylight). He is the driving force behind OpenStack, ODL, and OPNFV in Asia. Arif has authored research papers and co-inventor of patents.
