Amresh Khar and Manish Kochhar, the co-founders of Mad About Wheels Private Limited have worked in the automotive industry for around two decades. They want to use their wide industry experience to lend support to the budding Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystem in the country. 

Started in 2019, Mad About Wheels has already partnered with a few OEM’s of electric two-wheelers and E-Rickshaw is working on logistics companies under B2B segment with partners. They offer a technology enabled product service that can easily on-board channels to start using the product within days.

Talking about their Extended Warranty as a product service, Amresh shares:

“We design and customise Electric Warranty products based on consumer needs for respective brands or channel partners. The warranty can be anywhere between 6 months to 5 years, or per km based (which we recommend). The same can be extended to the end customer from the day of the sale of product, as the case may be. We have new opportunities of extending our products through lease and are working further to define this as it could be an equally great contributor to build the EV ecosystem.”

Amresh Khar also added that they are developing synergy products/services for the ecosystem they are working on. However, knowing its low volume a consumer surely needs something which is defined with a silver lining, as exclusive yet affordable.
