He has been active in the industry since 1999 and is working very closely with Government, Policy Makers, and Industry association globally. Recently, he is working on Organic and Fair-Trade Movement and has been advising the Indian Government, Certifying Bodies, Trade Group on the business side of organic food categories.Mr. Ajay Katyal is also a founder member of the Government recognized Organic Industry’s association – Association of Indian Organic Industry(AIOI)and a Fair-Trade Producer Association of Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, NPPL has a very strong andexperienced team of Organic Farming Professional.

He possesses a rich experience of 26 plus years inRice & Agri-Industry, out of which he dedicated 20 plus years in Global Organic Food Industry.In the past 20 years, he has established three largeorganic food ventures including Nature Pearls Private Limited, which are now one of the leading & largest organic companies in India. For his two previous ventures, he has been felicitated byAPEDA Award for Leading Organic Food Exporters in the year 2001-02 &2009-10.

He has also been working with more than 15000 organic farmers from the past many years and has been instrumental in bringing regular demands of organic crop produce thereby enhancing the income and standard of living of their families.
