Mr. Ajay is a Technical graduate and a Marketing Post-Graduate, with 9+years of experience in the field of (Individual Fundraising), Direct Sales & Marketing for Nonprofit organization, Software Sales and BPO Industries. Currently he is managing portfolio for Jay Shree Enterprises through different channels of fundraising team like Retention, Digital, Acquisition, Tele facing. As a strategic thinker, he has the drive and energy to lead teams to deliver on strategic objectives and that’s how Jay Shree Enterprises began in the year 2018 with a pursuit of his passion for being best fundraising Agency.
Mr. Ajay initially started his business with just two people. As of now, there are 1100 people working with his organization in 13 states across India. This went on until 2019 when he came to North India and realized that there are many compete tier which are from same field. He had a moment of epiphany and realized that Individual Fundraising is going to be the future for NGOs.
Recalling his entrepreneurial journey, Mr. Ajay started his business with very limited resources and pooled Rs 50,000 from his mother Jay Shree Priya and later, even took out a loan from a bank to seed his business. He further says that in the initial years, although there was less competition, the struggle to run Telemarketing company was immense. As an organization, they are a content driven, multi-channel fundraising organization. Their team brings together more than 7 years of fundraising experience. The team members have previously led the set-up and scale-up of fundraising channels for leading international non-profits across India. The organization understands the fundraising market in the country, the challenges in the different geographies, donor preferences and expectations, attrition and donor life-cycles. Their strategy is designed to address these challenges and helps us deliver sustainable fundraising net incomes.
Fundraising for us is a mix of thoughtful art and rigorous science. He believes that all fundraising is an outcome of meaningful conversations and needs to be designed for sustainability from the start. This is evident in the low average donation amounts. He further aims to help one find committed supporters that donate higher amounts for longer. They think higher donation amounts address individual fundraising challenges in two significant ways – a higher level of commitment on the part of the supporter helps reduce attrition, and higher donation amounts also make the process of fundraising sustainable by delivering net incomes in a far shorter time period.
