With a keen interest in Finance, he started working with Inclusive Finance Consultancy right after IRMA, where he helped several microfinance players, in India and abroad, adopt International Best Practices. He has also been involved in Research assignments to understand financial inclusion in several countries. He later worked with a bank in the Policy Risk Team of its microfinance portfolio and currently, with IFDA, he would like to work with several industry players directly to adopt better processes and policies and thus, help them gain efficiency in bringing more people under the ambit of mainstream finance. With the belief that teaching a skill makes you learn it better, he also advises few consultancy firms working in the space of capacity building of microfinance staff and financial literacy, pro-bono.

He has nearly five years of experience in Inclusive Finance and nearly two years of experience in the IT sector. He holds a master’s in rural management from IRMA and a bachelor’s from IIT Guwahati. Owing to his learning attitude, he has also completed Post Graduate Certificate Program from IIM Indore and Investment Banking and Equity Research Certificate from SIB Mumbai.

He is a yoga and fitness enthusiast and is also associated as a volunteer with the Art of Living Foundation. He believes that it is possible to achieve anything with a calm and peaceful mind and tries to spread the same positivity in all his endeavours.
