Aamir is an Investor, Co-founder of 8 start-ups, Award-winning CEO and founder of a multi-national digital firm called Enterprise Monkey, and an Australian young Business leader of the year. An engineer who graduated from India decided to build his destiny in Australia after pursuing an MBA in Information Management from Deakin University, Australia. His zeal to contribute to entrepreneurship started under 25 itself during his engineering days, where he played a crucial role in establishing an Entrepreneurship Development Cell.
His journey throughout has been inspiring and applaudable since he remarkably contributed irrespective of the place he lived.
He founded Enterprise Monkey – a web and app development company, in 2014 after pursuing an MBA in Information Management from Deakin University, Australia. During his journey as a student, he strived to find peer groups who are into entrepreneurship. Hence, to promote entrepreneurship in Geelong, Aamir had set the foundation of Entrepreneurs Geelong Network, a group of around 200 entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs Geelong Network supports entrepreneurs in the greater Geelong region. Enterprise Monkey serves a wide array of corporate and government clients and works on some of the most critical projects in the area.
The passion he carries dawned on him after he met people who challenged him, came across opportunities that didn’t offer much growth, and experiences that made him acknowledge the capabilities he carried. While Aamir was doing his bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in India, he founded AMULive-the first-ever University Social Network in India, which reached 5000 members within 15 days of its launch.
The perseverance he has shown throughout to build a multi-national company like Enterprise Monkey with a presence in 4 countries is exceptional. At such a young age, Aamir is a member of Geelong authority by the Minister of Planning. He is also the founding secretary of Pivot Summit- an international digital conference. His achievements are remarkably inspiring the youth to achieve what their heart truly desires.
