Despite having a well settled family owned business, he was constantly in search to start with something on his own. Being a voracious reader, came across many research about the climate change impact going forward, he was convinced of the potential in solar sector, starting Thesan Energy Pvt. Ltd. as a trading company for raw materials required for solar module manufacturing, gaining knowledge of this industry.

With successful operations of over 3 years, having scaled substantially, he started building a core team of operations to focus and diversify into Solar EPC and also build portfolio of BOOT (Build Own Operate & Transfer) projects, focusing only on rooftop segment. Started with small scale residential rooftop installations gradually bidding for government projects and thereby targeting big commercial and industrial rooftop installations.

Today Thesan Energy has completed EPC rooftop installations of over 8 MW and are operating 2.5 MW under BOOT model generating and selling over 3.5 million green units serving marquee names like Indian Oil Corporation, Bajaj Electricals, Lodha Group etc..

His vision is to scale the business in the ignored MSME segment helping them reduce their operational cost and simultaneously serve the environment and thus their company motto “Greenergizing Earth”
