Apart from being an able administrator, he became the infrastructure development specialist in the Indian Air Force and even was responsible for the development of the north-eastern sector being posted at Shillong.

GP Capt. IB Singh is a keen sports person with nearly four decades in sports playing, and also in sports administration and management. His debut in hockey was in 1978 as 10th class boy and there after had the pleasure of playing with Mr. Pargat Singh the Captain of the Indian Hockey team. He represented the Indian Air Force and was a member of the many sports federations. He won many championships. He was the selector of the Hockey for the Indian Air Force and their services. He was also the selector and the chair jury for the services Hockey, Basketball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Athletics, Golf, and Kabaddi. MWO Ram Mehar Singh was his pick in the year 1993 for the services team. He thereafter became the most successful captain of the INDIAN KABADDI TEAM and was also awarded The Arjuna Award. He is presently the head coach of Patna Pirates Kabaddi team of Pro Kabaddi and also the National selector of the Indian kabaddi Team.
Gp Capt I B Singh, was also the Manager and the selector for the Services Gymnastics team from 1996 to 2011. He not only managed the team, but also qualified as the first officer as Gymnastics Judge as a non gymnast. He was instrumental in the up-gradation of the Gymnastics infrastructure in services, and also improving the standards of Gymnastics.
He has the rare distinction of flying the MI-17 helicopters as an Air Traffic Control Officer. He is the first officer of the Indian Air Force to be detailed for the NSG Commando course and where he excelled and topped the course. He has been an officer with a vast knowledge of all aspects of life and has been a great public speaker. He has developed a unique program for career and health, “VIN Childcare” and is also known as a wellness expert. He was awarded and honored by the then president IMA, Dr. KK Aggarwal for his services for the health of children in 2017.
He served the Indian Air Force for nearly 26 years and there after took pre-featured retirement to be a part of the civil corporate sector. He has been CEO–SPAZE Group& PRESERVE FACILITEEZ Pvt Ltd andhas led his team very successfully with total commitment, dedication sincerity, and will achieve greater heights every day. He was the CEO of Victory Group and presently he is the CEO of Mapsko Builders Pvt Ltd.
He has taken up the task of giving back to society in the role of making others live better lives. He is a visionary who has a farsightedness wherein he has already planned to induct new technologies into his ambit of operations keeping in mind the future. He is not only aware of the past and present problematic areas, but is also aware and working towards the increasing demands of the time ensuring quality in all aspects with total control over the rising cost in the country. He is a member of the Rural& Urban development Committee of India, since, 2012.
