Started career in the film industry switched over as journalist and photographer Dr. Dey shifted overseas in 1980’s to pursue a senior executive level career as a peoples’ and profit leader in advertising and in automobile industry across New Zealand, Europe, Middle East and North Africa. In early 2000, he shifted to Asia Pacific in a career as Chief Consultant of a Singapore based consulting company. Upon his return to India in 2003, Dr. Dey moved to higher education as a Professor of Business Management and in academic leadership roles of Dean, Director, Vice Chancellor, etc. with leading universities and B-schools in India, Bangladesh, West Africa and Middle East.   

Dr. Sudhiranjan Dey have had performed advisory roles in higher education and also as a Visiting Professor of Eminence to US AID, UNDP, Govt. of Russian Federation and in top universities in UK, France, Russia, US, Latin America, Africa, South Korea, Asia Pacific and South Asia. Lately, he has been heading higher education quality enhancement, employability, livelihood, gender equality focused multi-million dollars development projects in Central Asia. His contributions especially in implementing sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the areas of international relations and collaborative functions between local and international organizations has been very successful and well appreciated.

 His current research focuses on the “employability”, “graduate effectiveness” and “psychology of success” with focus on self-improvements. He has been awarded with several international awards in advertising to photography, and from innovations in higher education to operational excellence.
