She has worked in the different capacities of Academic and Administrative Bodies like, Vice-Principal, Special Officer, Placement Officer, Student Welfare Officer, Co-Ordinator and she is serving BMS College for Women from past 34 years. She is also founder Principal of BMS Evening College.
She got her Doctorate Degree in the year 1999 from Bangalore University on “Pysico-Chemical Investigation of some Medicinal Compounds-Kinetic and cyclic Voltammetric Approaches”.She has done three Minor research projects under UGC sponsored and other various Research Projects in the area of Chemistry. She has Guided and Guiding for Ph. D students of Tumukuru University, JNTU Ananthapur, AP, VTU as Co-guide, Reva University, Bengaluru.
Her research paper has been published in a book of International Science Domain-chapter-4, Entitled “Kinetics of oxidation of Diazepam by Bromosuccinimide in acid medium: A mechanistic study”. She is the Member in Editorial Board of few International Journal.
She has published more than 35 Research papers in National and International Journals and also she has presented and published more than 26 Research Papers in various Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and Symposium both at National and International levels. Madam, has participated in more than 51 UGC sponsored National, International Workshops and Conferences and Member in advisory committee of UGC Sponsored National Conference. She has also excelled herself not only in India but also participated in 8th AKKA World Kannada Conference at California, USA. She has served as Panel Member of screening committee in affiliated colleges, Chairperson, Paper Setter, Member in B.O.S.& B.O.E in the Bangalore University & Bengaluru City University.
She has bagged many awards for her achievements like:

- Won World Championship-2018 in Applied Chemistry for her teaching excellence.
- Life Time Achievement Award, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award for her Scientific Excellence in Research.
- On occasion of International Women’s Day felicitated
- By Usha kiran Foundation as “Best Women Achiever” for the year 2021.
- Received “Best Talent” award for Teaching Excellence from W.H. Hanumanthappa monument lecture forum association.
- Won “Inspirational Scientist Award- 2021” by International Scientist Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine from VD Good Technology.
