In addition to his professional service, Mr. Chary has been extending volunteer service to the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP),USA to advance the Health, Safety& Environment (HSE) profession and to enhance the positive HSE culture in the Society. In addition to this, he also extends volunteer service to the World Non Resident Indian (NRI) Council and Life Cycle Initiative hosted by United Nation Environment Programme.

Mr. Chary is self – motivated personality, outstanding team player & leader and performed excellent working skills during his career at his profession and volunteer services.

Rama Krushna Chary is an Environmental expert, born in a farmer’s family at Palivela, Nalgonda district, Telangana, India. He completed schooling from Government school in Palivela, Nalgonda district then did Diploma in Sugar Technology from Government Polytechnic College, Nizamabad. He earned his Bachler of Technologyin Chemical Engineering from Regional Engineering College (REC) [Presently it is known as National Institute of Technology (NIT) which is one of the institutions of national importance],Warangal, India during 1997 – 2001 and is a distinguished alumnus from that institution. He holds Master of Business  Administration (MBA) in Oil & Gas from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES),Dehradun, India during 2010 – 2013.

He is a lead auditor for ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health &Safety Management System),& ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and Professional Engineer from Institute of Engineers, India. He is a member of various national and international professional organizations.

Mr.Chary is a pioneer in applying fundamental principles of chemical engineering to engineered environmental systems. His expertise in the field of air quality management, waste management, drilling waste management, environmental assessment studies, environmental compliance studies and environmental management system. He started his professional career in India  then  moved on various international assignments including Qatar and Kuwait.During his career, he made many successful attempts towards the environmental protection.

Mr.Chary is an instrumental in establishing the Hazardous Waste Treatment facilities for Oil and Gas Industry and Air Quality Division for Environmental Consultancy during his overseas assignments. He played an active role in establishing the Environmental Management System (EMS) and mechanism for Environmental &Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Study for Oil and Gas Industry. He is a key player in formula ting the Energy Management System (EnMS)Implementation Planin – line with ISO 50001 Standard to optimize the Energy consumption and ensure the effective utilization of systems in Oil and Gas industry.

As part of his volunteer service, Mr. Chary has been associated with American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and World Non – Resident Indian (NRI) Council at local and global arena by serving in various positions to enhance the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture in the Society and empower the NRI community to build confidence respectively. He is also associated with Life Cycle Initiative hosted by United Nation Environment Programme.

Mr. Chary has made all possible attempts to enhance the Health, Safety& Environment (HSE)culture and awareness among professionals and students by delivering guest speeches, webinars, presenting technical papers and publishing technical articles at national and international platforms.

His outstanding volunteering services are significantly impacting on organizations Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)culture positively which is one of the causes for society development. His volunteer services have helped more than 15,000 HSE Professionals from various countries including India to improve HSE culture at their workplace.He is also mentoring young environmental professionals.
