Mrs. Upasana Sethi is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, USA and also holds an MBA in Finance. She has over 13 years’ experience of working with various private equity funds in the areas of fund raising, investment evaluation, asset management and corporate strategy. She is familiar with several sectors, displaying strong analytical and communication skills plus team leadership qualities. She has worked with PE Funds like Lumis Partners, Samhi Hotels, Brack Capital and Beekman Helix . She has managed Global Institutional investors in her funds that included Pramerica, Brack Capital, Equity International and IFC.

After her daughter’s birth, she was very keen to get back to work but did not want to comprise on the quality time with her daughter so she started working as an independent consultant and later on created her brand “The Pitch Deck” (www.the-pitchdeck.com).

For the past couple of years, she has been consulting PE/VC Funds, investment banks and startups both in India and abroad. Her core area of consultancy has been incorporate strategy, fund raising strategy, structuring, investor relationship, ESG Framework, legal documentation, research etc. She has been creating a strong backend support for the companies so that they can confidently go on a road show and raise money from the investors.
