Technology with a tinge of curiosity, flexibility, adaptability, and responsibility is the key to sustainable social development. An engineer at heart, and an entrepreneur by choice, Vikas believes in introducing and implementing technological innovations to solve the burning social and economic problems that plague the world today. Vikas is the Founder and CEO of ACVISS-a new-age organization that harnesses emerging technology to fight the grey market of counterfeit products.
An alumnus of the University of Maryland, Vikas Jain specialized in telecommunications, entrepreneurship, venture capital market, and private equity. An engineer in thought, and an entrepreneur by heart, Vikas experimented with his start-up ideas early on. Passionate about Machine Learning and Growth Hacking, Vikas believed that technology is innovative when used to bring in a positive change in society. Getting duped with fake plywood used in his newly furnished home was a poignant turning point for Vikas. Taking inspiration from his family-managed business of anti-counterfeit label making, Vikas founded ACVISS Technologies in 2016.
Now at the forefront in anti-counterfeit technology, Acviss offers loyalty management, warranty management, blockchain-based centralized track, and trace systems, and more. Under Vikas’s leadership, ACVISS has grown from being a modest startup to a proud organization that has globally catered to more than 60 million products across 80+ Brands. Speaking about his heart child, Vikas believes that ACVISS goes beyond protecting brands. In his own words, ‘the philosophy behind ACVISS is to protect lives and livelihood by arresting the dangerous counterfeit market. I wish to live in a world where I know that the life-saving medicine I consume, the expensive cosmetics I buy, the food I eat, and every appliance I buy, are safe. With persistent efforts and new-age technology, it is possible to not just arrest, but also eliminate counterfeits.’
Beyond his life at ACVISS, Vikas has dabbled as an Angel Investor. Also, he spends his time in his non-profit organization-Camp CPR. Camp CPR aims to tackle the issue of poor emergency response that exists in the country.
