Susenjit Singha is a proven young professional of 41 years holding degree of M. Tech. (Industrial Engineering) from NIT, Nagpur, B.E. (Production Engineering) from MIET Nagpur, Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) from JCGP, Kolkata and Trade Apprentice (AITT, Fitter) from NCTVT, Kolkata. Currently he is pursing for Executive Program in ‘Strategic Management’ from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He carries 18+ years of rich experience in various industries like Bearing, Robotic, Automotive Lighting and Plastic, Ship building, Commodity Products – Tapes, etc.
He started his career as blue-collar employee and has always strived for growth with hard work and dedication. With different organizations, he has worked in maintenance, tool room, production, R&D – design & development, project management, operations, business unit head and reached to the current position. His experience carries plant administration, P&L, IR & PR, strategic planning, manufacturing, operations, quality, project management, procurement, design & development, robot building, system implementation, green field and brown field project, commercial sales – customer interactions which includes managing export and domestic customers for OEM, aftermarket, B2B and B2C customer, business development and team management. He has worked in Government Sector, Indian as well as in MNC environment.
He is currently working as Managing Director in Trustin Tape Pvt. Ltd., Dahej. In a year, he has strategically developed customer base both in domestic and export market for B2B and B2C to optimize utilization of assets of the company. His main focus is to grow business considering customer satisfaction in mind. Keeping this thing on priority, company has achieved annual turnover of INR 124 crores which is increased by 59% than last year. By monitoring and improving plant efficiency, he is aiming further increase in turnover by 62% to meet a turnover of INR 200 crores next year. Along with top line, with his experience in managing technically advanced, cost-efficient and state-of-the-art business operations, he is focusing to improve bottom-line within pre-set cost, time and quality parameters.
Looking to the current asset utilization and aggressive follow up with customers, he has plan of expansion in short to start a new unit covering bigger product portfolio (in addition to masking tape) to cater domestic requirements. At the same time, to meet the demand from various customers, he is working on to capacity enhancement in existing plant to cater existing customers in India, Middle East, East Africa, North America, Europe, South East Asia and Russia.
