An Electrical Engineering graduate from Rajasthan Technical University, Ram Anuj Verma had a very humble beginning. He started his professional journey as Engineer at Adani Group taking care of EPC Solar projects and their Operation & Maintenance. He got hands-on experience about Solar projects, challenges therein, along with grassroot O&M challenges faced by the clients. He used to take inspiration from progressive ideas from leaders across the domain and was very impressed with the call for transformation of youth from ‘Job seekers’ to ‘Job creators’. 

Taking the final call, he started entrepreneurial journey as a small vendor for solar O& M. He was encouraged with initial market response. Realizing immense potential of electricity in uniting ordinary people and their connected spirit, to do extraordinary things and uplift their standard of living collectively in the process, he internalised the vision of providing ‘reliable, affordable and Environment-friendly’ electricity for remote areas where grid connected electricity was either not available/reliable or not affordable. His determination to provide cost- effective Renewable energy solution to people at large started paying off. The firm developed business relations with established firms like NTPC, NHPC, UPNEDA, Adani Group, Siemens Gamesa, Amara Raja Group, Kalpataru Power etc. and its turnover jumped significantly the very next year.   

Witnessing the ongoing transformation in society where human life and most of its activities, be it personal, educational, social, professional or even economic, are getting more and more ‘energy-centric’, he personally believes that access to reliable and affordable electricity should be included in the definition of ‘basic amenities’ and we should now talk of roti (food), kapda (clothing), makan (house) aur(and) Bijli (Electricity). He completely agrees to the renewed interpretation of Electricity as ‘organized lightning’.

Through RAVC, he aims to provide wholistic Solar solution (EPC and O&M services, Consultancy) for the ground and roof mounted solar power plant. RAVC always tells its clients that ‘once they have solar panel installed, the electricity is free’, trying to convince them respective potential of Solar PV system to substantially reduce cost of living. He, at RAVC is also in the process to develop ‘prepaid’ micro grid solar power plant.

His near future vision is to provide wholesome ‘Energy Optimization Solution’ at user’s end to clients through agile and smart application to transform user experience altogether.
