Mr. Nishant Shah

Achiever's Success Story

Founded on Mr Nishant Shah’s extensive expertise across global markets, Jackstien Practices are a specialised transformation services and change management firm that provides detailed customised and 360-degree implementation services to move businesses into the new normal of remote and hybrid work.

Mr Nishant Shah has worked internationally with some of the biggest global banks for two decades and managed multiple portfolios across the derivatives, risk and NBFC space (finally as Head of Operating Risk for JPMorgan Chase India).

He has developed an extensive list of industry leading credentials before founding Jackstien Practices, the winners of the Indian Achievers Award for Most Promising Start-Up, 2021-22.

Mr Nishant Shah has worked internationally with some of the biggest global banks for two decades, from Citibank to Standard Chartered and JPMorgan Chase.

Having managed multiple portfolios across the derivatives, risk and NBFC space, (finally as Head of Operating Risk for JPMorgan Chase India), he was in the driver’s seat managing the impact of some of the most significant changes in the economic environment globally and developed an extensive list of industry leading credentials.

A Chartered Accountant by education, he is a self-professed technologist, economist and futurist by passion. Mr Nishant Shah dreamt of combining these passions into a specialised transformation services firm.

Remote and Hybrid Work struck alongside the pandemic as a massive and sustained change. The potential for a long-term positive impact of remote and hybrid work on organizations, people, society, climate, the socio-economic structure, and geographical equalization was staggering.

Unfortunately, there remained substantial problems with remote and hybrid work that rendered the benefits difficult to achieve without continuing issues cropping up.

Mr Shah realised that his love for the concept of remote and hybrid work arose because it was a confluence of his three passions – technology, economics and the future. However, he also observed on multiple occasions that the departmental structure of organisations, otherwise a proven structure, did not work for such special transitions. High-level, anecdotal cookie-cutter solutions or remote and hybrid work created a constant stream of conflicts. Even organizations with a great track record of managing change face severe challenges, leaving them feeling vulnerable.

Having just achieved the twenty years he had committed to his career, he founded Jackstien Practices. It was the culmination of his dream to establish a specialised transformation services firm that worked with businesses based on their unique strengths, focus areas, regulatory, economic, and international environment.

Post months of intense research and development to build upon global expertise, Mr Shah and his team developed proprietary approaches and solutions for every aspect of an organization impacted by remote and hybrid work. No doubt, his deep understanding of the business environment was a key driver.

Jackstien Practices now provides cohesive, structured, detailed and 360-degree implementation advise to its clients that ties it all together and enhances it; asset reallocations, cost-base, policies, risk-structures and technology as well as statutory, financial, legal, privacy, data security, people, organizational and behavioural aspects.

The solutions for each aspect are designed and implemented to support and boost every other aspect; Jackstien Practices aims to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. Their unique expertise helps clients to “leverage the future rather than simply survive it”.

This award to Jackstien Practices recognizes the need for new consultants in the new world; consultants that look at one field from all lenses instead of every field from a one lens.

Mr Nishant Shah says Jackstien Practices would not have gotten here in so short a time without the love and support of his wonderful team, nor without the belief, confidence and trust of their clients.
