Achiever's Success Story
“Mr. Madhuban Pandey, Co-Founder & COO of SCORE Livelihood Foundation”
Introducing Mr. Madhuban Pandey, social entrepreneur. Madhuban envisions to ensure livelihood impact for more than 200,000 people by 2023. His idea is to capacitate people to help them to earn their livelihood and become self-reliant as Swami Vivekananda had said “Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea.”
India continues to grapple with jobless growth. A country, world’s largest democracy is endowed with world’s highest young population but the irony is unequal access of the same segment to opportunities, information, knowledge and participation in nation’s economic process. Inequity perpetuates deeper as one examines the plight of women in both rural and urban India. The genesis of SCORE Livelihood Foundation is rooted into this thought and hence an urge for addressing the question of how could we make our people future ready – an imagination that revolves around the tenets of ‘self-reliance’.
“SCORE Livelihood Foundation is a social enterprise aspiring to build innovative and scalable models to strengthen resilience of communities & individuals and empower them with sustainable and inclusive livelihood options.”
