Dwipam started his career with AtoS a large consulting firm in 2012 and moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue a Master’s in Data Science from Indiana University Bloomington. He started working at Xometry in 2017 and quickly became a key member of the organization. Xometry provides on-demand manufacturing for world-class manufacturers such as NASA, US Army, BMW, GE, and other Fortune 500 companies.
Accurate pricing is key to Xometry’s success. Dwipam developed machine learning-based pricing models that generated millions of revenue and gross profits for the organization. Dwipam then started working at Capital One in June 2020, a US-based Financial Corporation that provides Credit Card and other Banking products to millions of Americans. At Capital One he worked with other fellow researchers and developed a novel AI solution to reduce financial fraud using digital and transactional data for millions of Americans.
His work was accepted at the prestigious International Conference in Machine Learning in 2021, the world’s most elite Artificial Intelligence peer-reviewed conference. He also developed an AI-based solution that detects sensitive data from a large corpus of data thereby improving user data privacy and safety from external cyber-attacks for millions of Americans. This resulted in numerous patent applications.
He is currently leading the research agenda for machine learning at Capital One for providing relevant and timely recommendations for financial insights including payment, billing, and fraud alerts proactively. Dwipam mentors other AI professionals, and peer reviews Machine Learning books, articles, and papers with Manning Publication and Data Science Journal(DSJ) at codata.org. He also writes scholarly articles for world-renowned Data Science publications such as Towards Data Science and Analytics Vidya. He also serves as an expert judge at Stevie and Globee awards for recognizing the most valuable technological innovation and advancements.
