His innate tendency to adopt and implement newer treatment and surgical techniques has helped him deliver the cutting edge treatment to his patients. Dr Rahul has always tried to challenge himself professionally and physically. He has many  firsts to his name like the first single stage bilateral knee replacement in his home town of Nasik; the first live surgical demo for knee surgeries in Dubai and many more. His personal  challenges has seen him feature in  REPS magazine ( a quarterly magazine of exercise professionals) under a 6 month program of TBT (total body transformation) whereby he lost 35 kgs and has been an source of inspiration to his patients, friends and family. His foray into scuba diving, marathon running and cross fit training has helped him individually understand the mental toughness required and also the injury patterns and prevention aspects in professional athletes which form an important part of his daily clinical practice. His honest approach to patients has helped him build a clean reputation in this field where trust plays a major role .
