The facility will have appropriate storage conditions & different drugs can have vastly different requirements in terms of temperature, humidity, and lighting. Dr Ashley’s Limited’s objective is to ensure that the storage of each drug is in line with its specific requirements defined by the manufacturer.
This can involve temperature-controlled warehousing and/or climate-controlled warehousing space – both of which require state-of-the-art control and monitoring equipment to keep the space within specific environmental parameters. The key focus will be managing incoming goods, either from manufacturing or outside sources, effective organization and management of stock, control of the warehouse exit points, grouping the output commands based on its destination. Dr Ashley’s Limited is clearly on the technological forefront with a fully-automated clad-rack warehouse It consists of two double-depth storage aisles and a conveyor circuit for inflowing and outflowing goods. The entire operation is controlled and managed by the warehouse management software.
