Dr. Arindam Banerjee, the CEO and director of LifeSenz Ltd, holds a PhD in Molecular Medicine from The University of Auckland, New Zealand and subsequent relevant work experience across various international locations such as UK, Singapore, New Zealand and India. Dr Banerjee has contributed to multiple peer reviewed scientific publications and got accolades at various international scientific meetings. Dr Banerjee is also an expert in advanced in vitro and ex vivo cell modelling-based platform development in cancer therapeutics field.

Mr. Banerjee says that Standard chemotherapy treatment approach of ‘one size fits all’ may not always provide the anticipatory therapy response. Hence, predictive and precise selection of an appropriate drug/s at the individual level before treatment begins, could provide better therapy outcomes within relatively less timeframe. This could save both TIME & MONEY and thereby beneficial to the patient.

He also adds that In house, quality R&D work on translational cancer research at per international levels could be helpful to develop new avenues of an affordable cancer therapy which may be beneficial to the patient’s lives. Moreover, lack of competent scientific talent pool of international standards is another concern to build a high standard scientific ecosystem in our country.
